Napping, Learning, Early Years, Williams Syndrome

I am particularly interested in the early years and the ways in which sleep may impact typical and atypical development. I have an MSc in Child Development, in which I examined the effects of daytime sleep on learning in pre-school children. I am currently completing my PhD, continuing to explore the associations between sleep and learning in the early years. My focus is developmental trajectories of sleep patterns, from infancy through to school-age. I am examining the effects of sleep on cognition and behaviour in children with typical development and in children with Williams Syndrome.
