Behind my smile, I still have the pain, scars, sleepless nights and fear of a reoccurrence.

Why Donate?

Breast and prostate cancers are the most common cancers worldwide. With advancing medical treatments, a large proportion of people continue to live but the psychological cost of diagnosis and treatment weighs heavy with emotional well-being severely impaired. High rates of anxiety and depression as well as impaired cognitive function continues to affect the lives of these people for many years after treatment ends. One of the most commonly reported problems is impaired quality of sleep that can exacerbate emotional and cognitive vulnerability and impair quality of life.

Please join Professor Dagmara Dimitriou (University College London) and Prof Stephen Mangar (Imperial College) and their teams to help our research on cancer to advance biomarkers of aggressive cancer and cancer survivors to improve their lives.
